Luxury shopping malls are the favourite hangout place for the millennials

Shopping is an experience that is treasured by everyone. For some it even takes the shape of a therapeutic experience. The changing world has brought with it a changed shopping experience. Formerly when people had to go to a variety of stops to buy things today everything is available under one roof either in the form of a supermarket or in the form of malls.

The shopping mall is a modern concept that

·         makes it easy for shoppers to move from store to store with ease.
·         houses restaurants, places for gaming, cinemas etc.

·         make the entire mall experience one to remember and stretches it beyond the limits of shopping taking into the world of entertainment.
There are different kinds of malls catering to different tastes and for those with richer tastes, there are luxury shopping malls.

·         house brands that are all luxurious and world class
·         create the ambience of a five star hotel
·         cater to some major events like exclusive fashion shows and rare displays
·         offer fine dining options as well making it a full package
·         offer valet parking and concierge services

The major luxury shopping malls in India are

o   Emperio Mall Delhi
o   Palladium Mumbai
o   Quest Mall Kolkata
o   Bergamo Chennai
o   The Collection UB City Bangalore

With the urban and modern revolution taking place in the country there are a large number of malls coming up in all the major cities. People are mostly pressed for time and going to a mall gives them the advantage of shopping under one roof and provides for other needs like eating out, entertainment through cinemas as well as gaming for both children and adults. It is a little difficult to identify the best malls in India but a small overview of some major malls has been attempted. All the major cities in India are well known for their malls because they give people true value for their money even if only window shopping is done as there are many innovative ways in which time can be spent at the mall. One of the biggest malls in the country is the Lulu Mall in Kochi that is run by an NRI. The next in terms of size and facilities is the Phoenix Market City in Mumbai. Phoenix Market City in Chennai and Pune as well as the Mantri Square Mall in Bangalore are other major malls in the country together with Select City Walk in New Delhi.
